Freeport 1Q Earnings Fall On Lower Copper Prices, Indonesian Output - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold said Thursday that first-quarter income fell from a year ago on lower copper prices and because restrictions on concentrate exports from Indonesia meant lower metals sales from operations in the country. Officials said they are in talks with representatives of the government and feel progress is being made toward resolution of the issue.
