Four Dozen Injured As Blue Line Trains Collide - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

A train accident involving two CTA Blue Line trains at the Harlem station in Forest Park. The accident happened around 7:45 a.m. Monday when a CTA train headed towards the Loop collided with a train standing at the Harlem station. Blue Line service has been suspended between Forest Park and Kedzie, the CTA said on its website. The CTA confirmed 11 people were injured, but the mayor of Forest Park told WGN that 48 people were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.
