Former TV Pitchman Gets 10 Years In Prison - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Former TV pitchman Kevin Trudeau was sentenced to 10 years in prison Monday for making false claims in his infomercials about a weight loss program. Prosecutors had wanted a 10-year sentence for Trudeau. He wrote a letter to a federal judge, asking him to use his influence with the trial judge, to help get Trudeau a light sentence. Trudeau still owes $38 million in civil fines stemming from the case; but he insists he’s broke.
