Rain-triggered floods have forced thousands of people relocate in northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, state media reported on Monday. Torrential rain swept across Genhe city over the weekend, inundating houses and disrupting traffic, according to state television CCTV. CCTV showed footage of people wading in waist-deep flood water and local residents being evacuated on diggers. Among over 15,000 people stranded in the city, 9,600 of them had been relocated, CCTV said.
