FAA Proposes $12 Million Southwest Airlines Fine - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Southwest Airlines just flew into some turbulence. The FAA has announced the Dallas-based airliner could face a $12 million fine due to improper repairs on their planes. According to the FAA, the repairs in question were done on Boeing 737 jetliners by Southwest’s contractor, Aviation Technical Services; but the FAA says the repairs in three separate cases could have led to soaring problems after southwest continued to fly the modified planes.
