Defiant Mursi Tells Court He Is Still Egypt's President - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

He was Egypt's first freely-elected President but on Monday a defiant Mohamed Mursi arrived for the first day of his trial. The ousted Islamist president is facing charges of inciting violence in December, during mass protests against his rule. In court, an angry Mursi chanted 'Down with military rule' and called himself Egypt's only 'legitimate' president. Outside, hundreds of opponents of the army-backed government echoed that feeling.
