Daily Digit: Delta Chooses Airbus Over Boeing - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

$6 billion dollars is today's daily digit - the amount Delta Airlines is paying for 40 new Airbus jets. The order suggests Delta is softening its reliance on Boeing for the first time in two decades. It's also thought to have bagged a bargain Airbus denied the price was especially low but it is trying shift older models to make way for new fuel-efficient engines. Atlanta-based Delta operates both Boeing and Airbus planes.
