Coalition Talks Lift Hopes of ERT Staff - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

The standoff continues at Greek state TV broadcaster ERT after the government abruptly pulled the plug on the channel a week ago. Employees, who have occupied the headquarters, are still broadcasting via the internet and smaller TV stations. They hope government coalition talks will lead to the re-opening of the channel - and have vowed not to budge until it does. TV presenter Chrissa Roumelioti said public television should never be shuttered since it protects the public interest.
