Chinese Probe Successfully Lands On The Moon - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Earlier today, the Chinese lunar probe Chang’e-3 successfully landed on the Moon. This successful “soft landing” made China the first country to land a probe on the surface of the Moon in 37 years, and is only the third country to have done so. Chang’e-3 began its landing procedure at about 8am EST. In a few hours, the Chang’e-3 probe is scheduled to separate, releasing a small lunar rover called “Yutu.” The rover will spend the next 3 months exploring the surface of the moon.
