Chinese Leader's Korea Trip a Lesson in New Realities - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

So much for old allies. In an unprecedented break for tradition, Chinese president Xi Jinping is in Seoul this week for his inaugural state trip to South Korea -- a clear snub to North Korea, traditionally close to Beijing and usually the first stop for Chinese leaders. Just before his visit, North Korea repeatedly tested short range projectiles off its east coast. John Delury, who teaches East Asian studies at Yonsei University, says that's a sign Pyongyang doesn't want to be left out.
