Cambodia Garment Factory Worker Protesters Clash with Riot Police, One Dead - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

At least one protester died, five more were injured and about 30 protesters and monks were arrested after a Cambodian garment workers protest turned violent on Tuesday (November 12). About 1,000 factory workers clashed with riot police whilst trying to march to Prime Minister Hun Sen's house to demand for higher wages and bonus payments. The protesters, mostly women were stopped by police who first sprayed turned water cannons on them as protestors threw rocks at them.
