Banks Hike Profits in Double Digits - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Higher earnings at two of the top US banks show the economy is improving. JP Morgan and Wells Fargo boosted profits partly by setting aside less money for bad loans. JPMorgan's second quarter profit rose 31 percent to 6-point-5 billion dollars and crushed Wall Street's estimates. It was the fifth straight quarter in which earnings rose by double digits.
