Authorities Allow Increased Use of Cell Phones, E-Readers on Planes - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said on Thursday (October 31) it will allow airlines to expand the use of portable electronic devices in flight. FAA administrator Michael Huerta announced the changes at Reagan National Airport outside of Washington, D.C.. The agency said it is immediately providing airlines with guidance for implementation, the time frame for which is expected to vary among carriers.
