At Least 28 Dead in Mine Blast in China - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

At least 28 workers were killed and 13 injured on Friday (March 29) after a deadly gas blast in a Chinese coal mine in Baishan City, Jilin Province, state media said. The blast occurred late on Friday night, at the Babao Coal Mine which belongs to the state-owned Tonghua Mining Group Co. Ltd. State-run Xinhua news agency, quoted local authorities as saying that 41 workers were trapped in the mine. All workers were rescued early on Saturday (March 30) morning, Xinhua added.
