Canadian artist David Irvine is becoming famous for what he calls “Re-Directed Paintings” where he adds a pop culture twist to old paintings. It turns out one way to make those boring nature scenes from art found at thrift stores and yard sales more interesting is by adding The Dukes Of Hazzard, Luke Skywalker, or a Monty Python Reference.
