Amazon First Quarter Sales Pop 23%, Beat Street Expectations - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

E-commerce giant Amazon.com has kicked off 2014 on a strong note: a day after announcing a buzzy content licensing deal with HBO, the company reported better-than-expected first quarter earnings results. Amazon reported $19.74 billion in first quarter revenue, a figure that beats the Street consensus of $19.4 billion and is 23% higher than the $16.07 billion reported during the same time in 2013.
