We are an independent oil and gas company engaged in acquisition, development, exploitation, production and exploration activities primarily in the Rocky Mountains, Permian Basin, Mid-Continent, Michigan and Gulf Coast regions of the United States. We were incorporated in 2003 in connection with our initial public offering. Since our inception in 1980, we have built a strong asset base and achieved steady growth through property acquisitions, development and exploration activities. As of December 31, 2011, our estimated proved reserves totaled 345.2 MMBOE, representing a 13% increase in our proved reserves since December 31, 2010.
