We are a Delaware limited partnership formed in July 2013 by Valero. On December 16, 2013, we completed our initial public offering (the Offering) of 17,250,000 common units representing limited partner interests. Our common units are listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol “VLP.” See Note 1 of Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements for further discussion of our initial public offering. After completion of the Offering, the Partnership includes the assets, liabilities, and results of operations of certain crude oil and refined petroleum products pipelines, terminals, and other transportation and logistics assets previously owned and operated by Valero (as described below and referred to as the Contributed Assets).
