The Company's registered and principal executive offices are located at Par-la-Ville Place, 14 Par-la-Ville Road, Hamilton, HM 08, Bermuda, and its telephone number at this location is +1 (441) 295-6935. We are an international shipping company specializing in the transportation of crude oil and dry bulk cargoes, and have been listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol "VLCCF" since our initial public offering in February 1997. The Company was originally established for the purpose of owning and operating five very large crude oil carriers, or VLCCs. In February 1997, we completed our initial public offering, which resulted in $317.2 million net proceeds to us.
