Description:Vanguard Health Care ETF seeks to track the performance of the MSCI US Investable Market Health Care Index, an index made up of stocks of large, medium-size, and small U.S. companies within the health care sector, as classified under the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). This GICS sector is made up of two main industry groups. The first group includes companies that manufacture health care equipment and supplies or provide health care-related services (such as distributors of health care products, providers of basic health care services, and owners and operators of health care facilities and organizations). The second group includes companies primarily involved in the research, development, production, and marketing of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology products. As its primary indexing strategy, the Fund attempts to replicate the target index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the Index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the Index.
