Intraday Chart

Vanguard Energy ETF seeks to track the performance of the MSCI US Investable Market Energy Index, an index made up of stocks of large, medium-size, and small U.S. companies within the energy sector, as classified under the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). This GICS sector is made up of companies whose businesses are dominated by either of the following activities: the construction or provision of oil rigs, drilling equipment, and other energy-related equipment and services (such as seismic data collection); or companies engaged in the exploration, production, marketing, refining, and/or transportation of oil and gas products. As its primary indexing strategy, the Fund attempts to replicate the target index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the Index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the Index.
