We are the world’s leading leaf tobacco merchant and processor. Tobacco has been our principal focus since our founding in 1918. The largest portion of our business involves the procurement, processing, packing, and supply of flue-cured and burley leaf tobacco to manufacturers of consumer tobacco products. The reportable segments for our flue-cured and burley tobacco operations are North America and Other Regions. We also have a third reportable segment, Other Tobacco Operations, which comprises our dark tobacco business, our oriental tobacco joint venture, and certain tobacco-related services. We generated approximately $2.5 billion in consolidated revenues and earned approximately $280 million in total segment operating income in fiscal year 2010.
