With operations in more than 130 countries, TOTAL has activities in every sector of the oil industry: in the upstream (oil and gas exploration, development and production, liquefied natural gas) and downstream (refining, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, marketing and the trading and shipping of crude oil and petroleum products).
