Telecom is one of the largest private-sector companies in Argentina in terms of revenues, net income and number of employees. Telecom Argentina has a non-expiring license (the “License”) to provide fixed-line telecommunications services in Argentina, and it also provides other telephone-related services such as international long-distance service, data transmission, IT solutions outsourcing and Internet services. Through our subsidiaries, we also provide mobile telecommunications services and international wholesale services. As of December 31, 2012, we had approximately 4.1 million fixed lines in service. This is equivalent to approximately 21 lines in service per 100 inhabitants in the Northern Region of Argentina and 371 lines in service per employee. As of December 31, 2012, our Internet business reached approximately 1.6 million accesses and our mobile business had approximately 19.0 million subscribers in Argentina and approximately 2.  ...
