Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. (“TDS”) is a diversified telecommunications
company providing high-quality telecommunications services to approximately 4.8
million wireless customers and 1.1 million wireline and cable connections at
December 31, 2013. TDS conducts substantially all of its wireless operations
through its 84%-owned subsidiary, United States Cellular Corporation (“U.S.
Cellular”). TDS provides wireline services, cable services and hosted and
managed services (“HMS”), through its wholly-owned subsidiary, TDS
Telecommunications Corporation (“TDS Telecom”).
TDS conducts printing and distribution services through its majority-owned
subsidiary, Suttle-Straus, Inc. (“Suttle-Straus”) and provides wireless services
through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Airadigm Communications, Inc. (“Airadigm”),
a Wisconsin-based service provider (collectively, the “Non-Reportable
