Description:Market Vectors Steel ETF (the "Fund") seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the NYSE Arca Steel Index (the "Steel Index"). The Fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in common stocks and ADRs of companies involved in the steel industry. The Fund, using a %u201Cpassive%u201D or indexing investment approach, attempts to approximate the investment performance of the Steel Index by investing in a portfolio of securities that generally replicates the Steel Index. The Adviser expects that, over time, the correlation between the Fund%u2019s performance and that of the Steel Index before fees and expenses will be 95% or better. The Fund may also utilize convertible securities and derivative instruments, such as swaps, options, warrants, futures contracts, currency forwards, structured notes and participation notes to seek performance that corresponds to the Steel Index.
