Description:The investment objective of the Rydex S&P SmallCap 600 Pure Growth ETF is to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the performance of the S&P SmallCap 600 Pure Growth Index (the "Underlying Index"). The S&P SmallCap 600 Pure Growth Index is narrow in focus, containing only those S&P SmallCap 600 companies with strong growth characteristics as selected by S&P. As of December 31, 2009, the S&P SmallCap 600 Pure Growth Index included 170 of the constituents that comprise the S&P SmallCap 600. As long as the Fund invests at least 90% of its total assets in the securities of its respective Underlying Index, the Fund may invest its other assets in futures contracts, options on futures contracts, options, and swaps related to its Underlying Index, as well as cash and cash equivalents.
