We are a global leader in the forest products industry, with a diverse range of products, including newsprint, commercial printing papers, market pulp and wood products, which are marketed in close to 80 countries. We own or operate over 40 pulp and paper mills and wood products facilities in the United States, Canada and South Korea, and power generation assets in Quebec, Canada. On October 29, 2007, Abitibi-Consolidated Inc. (“Abitibi”) and Bowater Incorporated (“Bowater”) combined in a merger of equals with each becoming a subsidiary of AbitibiBowater Inc., a Delaware corporation incorporated on January 25, 2007. On November 7, 2011, AbitibiBowater Inc. began doing business as Resolute Forest Products. At the annual meeting of shareholders on May 23, 2012, the shareholders approved an amendment to our certificate of incorporation to change our corporate name from AbitibiBowater Inc. to Resolute Forest Products Inc., effective May 24, 2012.  ...
