Description:The PowerShares Insured National Municipal Bond Portfolio ("the Fund") seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the price and yield performance of the securities index called The BofA Merrill Lynch National Insured Long-Term Core Plus Municipal Securities Index (the "Underlying Index"). The Underlying Index is designed to track the performance of U.S. dollar-denominated investment grade insured tax-exempt debt publicly issued by a U.S. state, or its political subdivision, in the U.S. domestic market and includes approximately 1960 bonds. The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in insured municipal securities that are exempt from federal income tax.
