Description:The PowerShares Dynamic OTC Portfolio seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the Dynamic OTC Intellidex Index (the "Underlying Intellidex"). The Underlying Intellidex is comprised of 100 over- the-counter market securities, selected each quarter by NYSE Arca pursuant to a proprietary method. The Underlying Intellidex selection methodology seeks to identify and select companies from the U.S. NASDAQ marketplace with superior risk-return profiles. Domestic NASDAQ companies are ranked across numerous investment criteria, including fundamentals, valuation, timeliness and risk perspectives, in seeking to provide a comprehensive determination of a company%u2019s overall investment potential. Securities that, based upon the rankings, are believed to possess the greatest investment potential are selected for the Underlying Intellidex and incorporated into the Fund%u2019s portfolio. The Underlying Intellidex uses OTC market-like sector weightings and market-capitalization groupings as represented by the NASDAQ market in seeking to produce a sector and size dispersion similar to the overall broad OTC market. The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Underlying Intellidex.
