Park Sterling Corporation (the “Company”) was formed on October 6, 2010 to serve as the holding company for Park Sterling Bank (the “Bank”) and is a bank holding company registered with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (the “Federal Reserve Board”). At December 31, 2012, the Company’s primary operations and business were that of owning the Bank, with its main office located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Company’s main office is located at 1043 E. Morehead Street, Suite 201, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28204 and its phone number is (704) 716-2134. The Bank was incorporated in September 2006 as a North Carolina-chartered commercial nonmember bank and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The Bank opened for business on October 25, 2006 at 1043 E. Morehead Street, Suite 201, Charlotte, North Carolina.
