Description

The PowerShares Dynamic Semiconductors Portfolio ("the Fund") seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the Dynamic Semiconductors Intellidex Index (the "Underlying Intellidex"). The Underlying Intellidex is comprised of stocks of 30 U.S. semiconductors companies. These are companies that are principally engaged in the manufacture of semiconductors. These companies may include, for example, companies involved in all aspects of the electronics business and in new technologies or specialty areas, including advanced design and manufacturing technologies, and lasers and electro-optics. The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in common stocks of semiconductor companies.
