Description:The PowerShares Dynamic Pharmaceuticals Portfolio ("the Fund") seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the Dynamic Pharmaceuticals Intellidex Index (the "Underlying Intellidex"). The Underlying Intellidex is comprised of stocks of 30 U.S. pharmaceuticals companies. These are companies that are principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture, sale or distribution of pharmaceuticals and drugs of all types. These companies may include, for example, pharmaceutical companies and other companies involved in the research, development, manufacture, sale or distribution of drugs, including companies that facilitate the testing or regulatory approval of drugs. Stocks are selected principally on the basis of their capital appreciation potential as identified by NYSE Arca pursuant to a proprietary Intellidex methodology. The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in common stocks of pharmaceutical companies.
