Description:The PowerShares WilderHill Clean Energy Portfolio ("the Fund") seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the WilderHill Clean Energy Index (the "Underlying Index"). The Underlying Index is currently comprised of approximately 52 companies which are publicly traded in the United States and engaged in a business or businesses which the Clean Energy Index Selection Committee believes stand to benefit substantially from a societal transition toward use of cleaner energy and conservation. Stocks are selected based on expert evaluation by the Underlying Index Selection Committee. The Fund will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in common stocks of companies engaged in the business of the advancement of cleaner energy and conservation.
