Company Description (as filed with the SEC)

We are a low-cost producer and marketer of high-value thermal coal (coal) to United States (“U.S.”) utilities and industrial users, and we are the largest producer of surface mined coal in Ohio. We market our coal primarily to large electric utilities with coal-fired, base-load scrubbed power plants under long-term coal sales contracts.
