Empire Resorts, Inc. (“Empire,” the “Company,” “us,” “our” or “we”) was organized as a Delaware corporation on March 19, 1993, and since that time has served as a holding company for various subsidiaries engaged in the hospitality and gaming industries. Through our wholly owned subsidiary, Monticello Raceway Management, Inc. (“MRMI”), we currently own and operate Monticello Casino and Raceway, a 45,000 square foot video gaming machine (“VGM”) and harness horseracing facility located in Monticello, New York, 90 miles northwest of New York City. Monticello Casino and Raceway operates 1,110 VGMs, which includes 1,090 video lottery terminals (“VLTs”) and 20 electronic table game positions (“ETGs”) . VGMs are similar to slot machines, but they are connected to a central computer system and report financial information to the central computer system.  ... More ...
