Mexco Energy Corporation, a Colorado corporation, is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, development and production of natural gas and crude oil properties located in the United States. Incorporated in April 1972 under the name Miller Oil Company, the Company changed its name to Mexco Energy Corporation effective April 30, 1980. At that time, the shareholders of the Company also approved amendments to the Articles of Incorporation resulting in a one-for-fifty reverse stock split of the Company's common stock. On December 31, 2012, Mexco acquired all of the outstanding ownership interests of TBO Oil & Gas, LLC, a Texas limited liability company which owns non-operated working interests producing primarily oil. In September 2010, Mexco acquired all of the issued and outstanding stock of Southwest Texas Disposal Corporation, a Texas corporation which owns royalties producing primarily natural gas.  ...
