We are an independent exploration and production company that utilizes seismic data and other technologies for geophysical exploration and development of oil and gas wells in the Appalachian region of eastern Tennessee and the Cook Inlet Basin in south central Alaska. In addition to our engineering and geological capabilities, we provide land drilling services on a contract basis to customers primarily engaged in natural gas exploration and production. During 2010, we have significantly expanded our operations through the December 2009 acquisition of oil and gas assets from Pacific Energy Resources through a bankruptcy proceeding in which we acquired onshore and offshore production and processing facilities, the Osprey offshore energy platform, over 600,000 net lease acres of land with hundreds of miles of 2-D and 3-D geologic seismic data, miscellaneous roads, pads and facilities.  ...
