Company Description (as filed with the SEC)

We are one of the nation's largest homebuilders, a provider of real estate related financial services, a commercial real estate, investment management and finance company through our Rialto segment and a developer of multifamily rental properties in select U.S. markets primarily through unconsolidated entities. Our homebuilding operations are the most substantial part of our business, comprising $8.5 billion in revenues, or approximately 89% of consolidated revenues in fiscal 2015. As of November 30, 2015, we had grouped our homebuilding activities into five reportable segments, which we refer to as Homebuilding East, Homebuilding Central, Homebuilding West, Homebuilding Southeast Florida and Homebuilding Houston, based primarily upon similar economic characteristics, geography and product type.  ...
