Mr. Hetong Guo, our chairman, founded our business in 1994 and opened our first authorized dealership under the FAW-Volkswagen franchise in 1997. We opened five additional franchise dealerships in Beijing, China from 2003 to 2008. Prior to our reorganization, these franchised dealerships were operated under the control of their parent company, Beijing Lentuo Electromechanical Group Co., Ltd., or Lentuo Electromechanical, a PRC-incorporated entity controlled by Mr. Hetong Guo. In anticipation of our overseas listing and to facilitate foreign investment in our company, we reorganized our corporate structure and incorporated Lentuo International Inc. as an offshore holding company in the Cayman Islands and wholly owned subsidiaries in both the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Beijing, China in 2009.  ...
