The SPDR Russell/Nomura PRIME Japan ETF seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return performance of the Russell/Nomura PRIME Index (the "Index"). The Index is designed to represent the 1,000 largest stocks in terms of float-adjusted market capitalization included in the Russell/Nomura Total Market Index. The Index includes stocks from a broad universe of Japanese equities. The Index is calculated with dividends reinvested, and is denominated in Japanese yen and U.S. dollars. The Index is calculated based on the share price for each stock on its primary exchange. Under normal market conditions, the Fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 90%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the Index.
