We are currently engaged in the exploration for and production of gold and silver in Mexico. We were organized under the laws of the State of Colorado in 1998. We pursue exploration of gold and silver projects, both in and outside of Mexico, that we believe feature low operating costs and have the potential to produce a high return on the capital invested. We hold a 100% interest in six properties in Mexico’s southern State of Oaxaca which we refer to as our Oaxaca Mining Unit. See “Item 2. Properties” for more information about our properties. We completed our initial public offering (“IPO”) in August 2006. Since that time, we have raised additional capital pursuant to several private placements of our common stock.
