Our legal name is Grupo Financiero Galicia S.A. We are a financial services holding company that was incorporated on September 14, 1999, as a sociedad anónima (which is a stock corporation) under the laws of Argentina. As a holding company we do not have operations of our own and conduct our business through our subsidiaries. Banco Galicia is our main subsidiary and one of Argentina’s largest full-service banks. Through the operating subsidiaries of Tarjetas Regionales, a holding company controlled by Banco Galicia, and CFA (97% Banco Galicia, 3% Grupo Financiero Galicia S.A.) we provide proprietary brand credit cards throughout the “Interior” of the country and consumer finance services throughout Argentina.
