AGL Resources was incorporated in 1995 under the laws of the State of Georgia and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Business Overview AGL Resources is an energy services holding company whose primary business is the safe, reliable and cost-effective distribution of natural gas through seven natural gas distribution utilities. We also are involved in several other businesses that are complementary to the distribution of natural gas. Our reportable segments, listed below, reflect how management views and manages our businesses. Our non-reportable subsidiaries are aggregated and presented as "other."
