FIRST CITIZENS BANC CORP (FCBC) was organized under the laws of the State of Ohio on February 19, 1987 and is a registered financial holding company under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999, as amended. FCBC’s office is located at 100 East Water Street, Sandusky, Ohio. FCBC and its subsidiaries are sometimes referred to together as the Corporation. The Corporation had total consolidated assets of $1,136,971 at December 31, 2012. THE CITIZENS BANKING COMPANY (Citizens), owned by FCBC since 1987, opened for business in 1884 as The Citizens National Bank. In 1898, Citizens was reorganized under Ohio banking law and was known as The Citizens Bank and Trust Company.
