Description:The iShares MSCI South Africa Index Fund (the "Fund") seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI South Africa Index (the "Underlying Index"). The Underlying Index consists of stocks traded primarily on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. As of September 30, 2009, the Underlying Index's three largest sectors were materials, financials and telecommunication services. The Fund generally invests at least 95% of its assets in the securities of its Underlying Index and in depositary receipts representing securities in its Underlying Index.
