Description:iPath Long Enhanced MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETN is linked to a leveraged return on the performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Net Total Return Index (the "Index"). The Index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization index that is designed to offer a representation of equity market performance of emerging markets. As of October 29, 2010 the Index consisted of the following 21 emerging market country indices: Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey. Investments offering leveraged exposure to emerging market equities can have various uses within a portfolio including directional, cash extraction, risk/return management or arbitrage strategies and are typically short or medium-term in nature.
