CU Bancorp is a bank holding company registered under the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, as amended. Our principal business is to serve as the holding company for our bank subsidiary, California United Bank, which we refer to as “CUB” or the “Bank”. When we say “we”, “our” or the “Company”, we mean the Company on a consolidated basis with the Bank. When we refer to CU Bancorp or the “holding company”, we are referring to the parent company on a stand-alone basis. The shares of CU Bancorp are listed on the NASDAQ Capital Market under the trading symbol “CUNB”. CU Bancorp was incorporated as a California corporation on November 16, 2011, and became the holding company for California United Bank on July 31, 2012 by acquiring all the voting stock of California United Bank.
