On November 28, 2012, we announced a change in our name from CompuCredit Holdings Corporation to Atlanticus Holdings Corporation, and we changed our NASDAQ ticker symbol from “CCRT” to “ATLC.” The name change became effective on November 30, 2012. Our common stock began trading under our new ticker symbol on December 3, 2012. Sale of Businesses As discussed in more detail in the General discussion below, in August 2012, we completed a transaction to sell to Flexpoint Fund II, L.P. our Investments in Previously Charged-Off Receivables segment, including its balance transfer card operations. As a result, these operations are included as discontinued operations for all periods presented within our consolidated statements of operations.
