It was created from the merger of Autoliv AB (“AAB”) and the automotive safety products business of Morton International, Inc., in 1997. The Company functions as a holding corporation and owns two principal subsidiaries, AAB and Autoliv ASP, Inc. (“ASP”). AAB and ASP are leading developers, manufacturers and suppliers to the automotive industry of automotive safety systems with a broad range of product offerings, including modules and components for passenger and driver-side airbags, side-impact airbag protection systems, seatbelts, steering wheels, safety electronics, whiplash protection systems and child seats, including components for such systems, as well as vision and night vision systems, radar and other active safety systems. ...
